Football Manager 2022 not launching (game pass for PC)

To further understand your issues, I need to ask a few more questions.

Is it downloaded on the Primary drive, or secondary drive?
When you say your "Games" folder, is it in your C:/Xboxgames?

Are you part of the PC Insiders?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I've tried what you said, and no luck sadly. As I've said I'm pretty certain I know what the problem is, that the Xbox App is trying to launch Football Manager from a directory which does not exist within the Windows Apps folder, whereas the game itself is installed in my Games folder.

See if any of these solutions work for you.

Solution 1: Make sure you do not have other programs like

• Anti-virus
  
• Firewall
  
• PC Optimizers
  

Blocking the game from running properly.

Solution 2: If your Xbox app isn't working, you can try resetting the Xbox app to solve the problem. Here are the detailed steps.

1. Press Win + I to open Windows Setting.
   
2. Select the Apps category. Make sure Apps & features are selected in the left pane. In the right pane, input Xbox in the search box.
   
3. In the following window, select the Reset button. Then check if the Xbox works appropriately.
   

Solution 3: Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type PowerShell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and select Run as administrator.

You can also report the problem using the Feedback option in the Xbox App

Submitting a bug through the Xbox App

1. Navigate to the top right of the application and select your gamerpic icon
   
2. Select “Feedback” in the drop-down menu
   
3. Select “Report a problem”
   
4. Click Give new feedback
   
5. Add [Xbox Forum] in “Summarize your feedback” followed by a feedback summary
   
   • Summary should be descriptive and fully detailing the error you are receiving. Links redirecting to this forum post will not be accepted and will cause a delay in your feedback submission.
     
6. Category should automatically be selected.
   
7. Once complete, post the title of the bug report along with the submission date in this thread
   

So it looks like downloading/launching games works for everything except Football Manager 2022?

Can you uninstall FM22 and try redownloading it? Maybe it got stuck in a weird limbo.

Thanks for the reply.

It's installed on my primary drive in a folder I made myself c:/Program Files/Games this is the location I install all my games to, including other Game Pass titles, all run fine (I just installed launched "Kraken Academy" to verify this) other than Football Manager 2022.

I don't believe I'm a part of PC Insiders, I'm a Game Pass Ultimate member? I don't know if that's relevant.
