Followers

I have a problem with Xbox live Followers, friends lists were great having the ability to decide when someone adds you on Xbox live whether or not you want them as a friend was great. Now if someone adds you on Xbox live and you don't add them back they
remain following you. This is not cool at all I don't want to have to sit there and go through and block each and every one of these people. I liked the old days when there was a friend request and I could approve or deny the request and if I denied it then
I never heard from that person again. Now Xbox live policy states that TROLLING is against the rules of Xbox live and can result in suspensions, hmmmmmmmm................. Seems like the FOLLOWERS system now implemented on Xbox live would allow just that.
I'm not a fan of people and I am a private person I keep to myself and the few friends that I allow to have in my life as I really hate people and am known for getting suspended as I am not very kind at all when provoked. (which is why I really don't like
people some or most in the online gaming community like to provoke and then go and report when you react) I am disabled and I spend 100% of my awake time GAMING. I do not want random people following me I do not want to have to go through my list and block
all them people either. Instead Xbox needs to come up with a different system to allow people who are not very social like myself to BLOCK the followers feature or just simply separate the followers and friend requests. This will eliminate the annoyance of
followers on Xbox because simply put it has turned into a Facebook twitter smash up and honestly I think social media has destroyed true human interactions. Please give us people who want peace on our friends lists have it by allowing us to eliminate followers
and please for the love of GOD give us the option to turn off the ACTIVITY FEED because I really don't care about 90% of that crap and I know there are plenty of other people who could stand to see the same thing. STOP catering to the younger generations and
do something for both the old and the new gamers. Most of the games being made are created by old people trying to appease the younger crowds and bringing new features that the young kids are asking for where as some of us don't care about all that extra crap
because it is just that CRAP. Please take into consideration these things because there was a time when I actually enjoyed gaming on my Xbox console but instead have moved over to PC because Xbox just isn't fun anymore the people are trash and the system is
trash. The Xbox 360 was WAY better I never had suspensions there for anything because I didn't have 200 followers and have to worry about if I put something up that may offend someone. I have made numerous reports to get people suspended or their name changed
and I could do it 1000 more times because the system is flawed. I don't play on Xbox anymore and it would take some huge changing for me to even want to come back I'd rather spend 2k on a killer PC that I don't have to worry about any of the crap that Xbox
has opened the doors for while closing others making the whole interface WORSE. In fact it is so awful that switching to PC is a better option or even a PS4 at this point and Xbox is hardly worth the exclusives no system is actually not until the system is
only 100 bucks not with how they continually screw things up. The new Xbox was announced at E3 2018 and is set for launch for 2020 lmao I bet is has 100x more issues than the Xbox 1 had Yes it has gotten better but at the same time with launch and the whole
followers system it is AWFUL. Get a clue Microsoft because you're losing to Playstation at least I can get a whole VR package there and I can manage my Followers I never had any they are either FRIENDS or the ARE NOT. Well that is all feel free to join on
in and tell how you feel about the followers system and how Xbox opens the door for TROLLING something they can suspend you for.

Can't remove certain followers

For some reason I can't remove certain followers. Even though I block these certain followers, they still show up in my followers list

 

You can make great use of your privacy settings so that people who are not your friends cannot bother you,regardless of whether they follow you or not. Sign in to your Microsoft account

If you take a look at the options under "Others can:" and set all of them to "friends" or "block" then there's not a thing your followers can bother you with.
