    Follow Up to Questions Regarding Losing Power On Xbox One X


    Hello All,

    I had posted a while ago about how my xbox one x wouldn't stay on. The solution was that it needed to be plugged directly into a wall outlet and NOT a surge protector. The console already has a built in surge protector and plugging it in to a separate surge
    protector causes the system to lose and/or not receive enough power. Please plug your Xbox One X directly into the wall, it should solve your problem as it solved mine. Thank you all and please have a pleasant evening.

    You're right, the console does have it's own surge protector. Some surge protectors do cause issues. My Xbox One & Xbox 360 are plugged into one, and have no issues at all, so I think it depends on the brand of surge protector you have.
