Folders in the UI

You should make this suggestion over at
Xbox Feedback; or, if the idea already exists there, you can simply upvote it to show your support.

The Feedback site is read by the platform engineering team, and recent updates have regularly included features that were first suggested on the Feedback site.

Apples and oranges IMO, there are a few things I think can, and will, be improved on the X1 UI, my only real complaint is the pins, I'd like to see either tabs or folders to organize the pins, right now I don't have enough room for all of my apps and digital
games.

The solution,,,

1. Press Windows Button + R to open the Run dialog box
2. Type gpedit.msc and press Enter
3. In the folders on the left, select Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Edge UI (or Edge UI).
4. Once you see the Edge UI options, right-click 'Allow swipe from edge' and select Edit.
5. In the upper left corner, click Off, and then press OK.
6. Close the Local Group Policy Editor window and launch some game to see if the issue is resolved.

I have the biggest wish for a steam based UI for the xbox app. The management of files is so locked down it makes me wonder if they really are putting said controls in place to make it "user friendly" or to stop us from tinkering with our folders ie copy
game saves completely .

I would think that if you regestered your console, that their is a good chance of being invited.

If not, then be patient. It's very likely that by mid May we will get the extended HDD support, along with a few other software/UI tweaks.

Oh I do hope they do something with their filing system. If I DL a demo. Why does it always add it to the the 'games/apps' folder as opposed to the Demo foldier?
