Folder can't be deleted and keeps popping.

We understand that you're having trouble deleting these folders. There may be options that we need to modify for us to be able to successfully delete these folders on your drive. Let's see if we can sort this out for you.



First, regarding the Xbox Games folder, it sounds like the default installation directory is still set to D:\. Here's how to change it to C:\:



1. Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.

2. Click on "System" and then "Storage".

3. Under "More storage settings", click on "Change where new content is saved".

4. Change the "New apps will save to" and "New documents will save to" options to "This PC (C".

5. Restart your computer and check if the Xbox Games folder is still being created in D:\.



Once we changed it to other location, you can proceed to delete the folder from your ends. If any case the issue persists, please note to proceed and submit a bug via windows feedback within the Xbox App.

I believe since you already installed games on the D: drive, the Xbox app will always recreate this folder since you might install games on this drive in the future.

The only option you could try to do is to change the default folder (not drive) inside the Xbox app to something else (like Games, for example). But I still think the Xbox app will still recreate the folder (Games, in our example here) on your D: drive.
