    Hi,

    HELP!

    Trying to set up xbox from new & it's nightmareish!

    Microsoft Account is set up

    Microsoft Child account set up with restrictions set up to our preferences, inc alow freinding & allow online gaming.

    Epic Games Child account set up

    Epic games adult account set up

    Xbox gold 1 month purchased on adult account

    Xbox adult account set up

    Child Xbox account set up

    both signed in

    We had Fortnite loaded & up & running

    But it at some point maybe after exploring other stuff & then reopening Fortnite it re-asked him to sign in or create account.

    He clicked create account by accident & now Fortnite is stuck spinning on create account screen.

    we have turned machine off & on multiple time signed in again on both accounts but when opening
    Fortnite it's still stuck spinning on create account screen.

    This has been an all day job so far & my latest Childs comment - "I'm ready to smash this Xbox up!"


    I'm with him on that too too!

    Any help available to us from anywhere before it goes back to the shop??

    Hey there Bob!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue concerning getting started with Fortnite.

    I would say that if you are only having problems with this game in particular to try the steps in "My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during
    gameplay    " as that helps with several general gameplay issues.

    When you get a chance, give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped in resolving the issue.

    Please do not bump a older topic. If you need help feel free to make a new topic. However a power cycle is holding down the power button for 10 seconds and letting the system shut down. Then plugging it fully for 5 mins.

    A hard restart is the same but minus the unplugging.
