Flixster

I was just wondering if we would be getting Flixster anytime soon here in the UK. I have around 50 titles, like a lot of people that uses Ultraviolet codes from DVDS/Bluray and apart from tablets, theres not a lot to actually play them on.

Any idea whether theres a rumour or confirmed of Flixster coming?

I have vudu & flixster & both are linked to ultraviolet (also have cinemanow linked.), but I cannot watch vudu on flixster & vice versa. also, linked to disney through vudu & the disney movies are not on cinemanow, nor are any flixster movies on cinemanow.

 

No idea, and really, I don't see the point. My Xbox One is right next to my 360, which is fairly close to all my Blu Rays/DVDs, if I want to watch a movie I'll use the Blu Ray/DVD, the quality will be better than streaming from Flixster, and it doesn't
eat in too my download limit.

Although that post is generally quite valid, it doesn't apply to everyone and so isn't pointless.

I must say though, the fact that you have a download cap in 2014 tells me you need to update your broadband package.

 

Unfortunately I bought several UV codes via ebay, all work, no problem on streaming on my kindle, I just dont want to sit in fron of a kindle watching some new films that are not on netflix, lovefilm, etc yet

 

Buy a cable and plug your Kindle into the XB1 or TV via HDMI, that's what I do for BT Sport.

 

why does it say there is an app for flixster and there is not?

 

There is an app, just not for the UK. As it seems to be the norm to get a flixster code wit bluerays etc, you would hope this would be available soon!!

 

Sausages, not everyone is so conveniently located or connected enough to get a capless broadband subscription.

 

I was lucky enough for a friend that uses their US account on my 360, managed to download Flixster app

 

Go on to your laptop and get CinemaNow and register and then skip the credit card stuff and then link ultra violet and then download the app on your xbox and then sign in on your xbox and that should be you and you get all you ultraviolet movies on you xbox
one.

If anyone in the UK is looking for a way to watch your UV collection on the Xbox One (I know it used to be available on the 360 too, but I havent been able to switch that on since Christmas to check) , download the Talktalktv app (formerly Blinkbox).

You can create a free account and link your UV collection - might take a day or two to sync fully, but it has been a lifesaver since the Flixster app became geolocked on the 360.
