Flight Simulator?

Microsoft Should make a flight simulator like Microsoft Flight Simulator or Microsoft Flight for the One. Using its insane amount of servers, a really good multiplayer experience could be made with 10's and 100's of people flying around at the same time.
Of course, it should be like forza as well. Multiple fun game modes with planes would be great. It would also make big money for microsoft because of all the people that want a console flight simulator, and how they could sell additional planes as DLC just
like how Forza sells additional cars!

Xbox One Flight Sim?

There are very few flight simulators or the Xbox 360, but those few go extremely unaccredited. Birds of Steel, Over G Fighters are arguable the most realistic flight sim's for the 360. Whats the chances of there being a flight simulator on Xbox One, a
new system with new amazing abilities.

Personally, I think if Microsoft decided to create an Xbox exclusive Flight Simulator kinda like Microsoft Flight. I think Microsoft Flight was a good idea, especially if it had the same scale as Flight Simulator X (which im sure could be ran on an Xbox
One)

Or, maybe even a combat flight simulator like Over G Fighters, but with updated graphics and airplanes.

....Maybe im over thinking it, the flight sim genre hasn't been the most popular in this recent gaming industry.

But I know for sure that im not the only fan of aviation that also loves to play xbox.

 

Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox a good idea?

Microsoft Flight isn't Microsoft Flight Simulator. Different game and it's not as demanding as your think. Most PCs/Laptops should be able to run it.

Microsoft Flight is the latest installment to the flight genre though.

 

MS ruined Flight Sim with their last version of it and trying to turn it into a F2P game. Not having the whole world available and you had to pay for pieces of it. I wouldn't have minded if they gave you the whole world but you paid to have highly detailed
sections (hell, you couldn't just fly around the world even if you wanted to pay for all the sections). This is pretty much equivalant to what EA did with SimCity when they made the plots smaller (They took away something that was inherant to the game and
made it worse). Yes, I'm bitter (not a huge MS fan but Flight Simulator was one of the few things they used to do that I really did find done quite well. I liked it better than Pro Pilot).

But as for your idea, for the real, non ruined version of Flight Simulator that was actually a good job at simulating flight, consoles just don't have enough buttons to do a serious flight simulator (There's a lot of controls you need to be able to control
and I just don't see how they could have a control scheme that would let you do all if it, at least not without being super awkward).

Some games are really only good for some types of computers due to controls. And flight simulators belong on a computer that has a keyboard.

 

I personally would love to see a next gen version of Ace Combat. Yeah it's closer to an arcade flight sim, and their last game was absolutely horrible, but if they return to the original control scheme as with Ace Combat 6, using next gen tech, they would
pull in a ton of OG AC fans. Include a flight stick and throttle peripheral and it's a win win. Ace Combat has been one of my favorite games since the 1st game.

 

Any plane flying game with a huge open world or dogfighting area would be great. Being able to fly commercial as we'll would be amazing. I'm hoping for a Flight Simularor X deluxe edition type game with one big payment then just a huge world (possibly the
whole earth) to fly around, land at airports, and do it all with friends

 

Crimson Skies MMO, now that would be awesome!

 

In my experience of flight sims, they're only really fun when you have a good joystick design for that game with the throttle controls and all the other buttons I don't understand. If they released one along side it, I'd most definitely buy it.

In terms of dog fighting game, that would be awesome but it would have to be something insanely simple but fun like the arcade ones. The only game I remember from last year was H.A.W.X and although it was good, I found the controls a bit fiddly and hard
to get to grips with the game in general.

 

One of my favourites was definitely il2 sturmovik. Not one of the most popular games on the 360 but I absolututley loved it. It even had some of the best graphics I've seen on the 360. Also I still love putting on ac6 fires of liberation. Another great game.
They absolututley ruined that franchise with the last on that came out. And if Microsoft were to do a flight sim, I would love them to bring back combat flight simulator. Part 2 of that game is still one of the best flight sims on the pc. Although it is looking
a little dated now.

 

I really do hope microsoft makes a flight simulator for xbox one. Making a offline signal player ( 50 or mission's ) mode and a online multi-player mode. I would definitly buy that.

 

My favorite flight sim of all time was all of Microsofts combat flight simulator 1 to 3. I have been waiting for another Microsoft cfs for years. Bring it too console would be killer.

Lol, Blazing Angels ? Crimson Skies ? With 32 v 32 dogfights, YES, bring it on, it would be fantastic, chaotic, but fantastic.

 

Well they have Elite Dangerous, a PC spaceship sim, coming to Xbox 1 later this year. Now they just need a good flight stick, maybe a HOTAS like the X52 or X55.

 

They should make an open world combat flight sim modeled after Over G. That was a very good simulator for consoles on the 360. Have the entire U.S. and a random skirmish pop up somewhere that you can participate in or just fight random enemies. A MUST is
to have limited fuel and weapons so you must pick your plane and weapons carefully and land to refuel or aerial refuel.

 

I want Ace Combat 4,5 and ZERO remasters more then FFVII or RE2 remake!!

Namco/Tekken Boss said it may happen... even just the soundtracks are worthy of playing them again

BIG 240B GUNNER Over-G was great also, shame it frooze up when popping achievements, i had to replay alot of mission because of that
