    flight simulator worked for one day then stopped


    First, I have using FS since the mid 80's, and also the combat flight simulators both european and asian up to X, last few years I've been using x plane 11.

    FS 2020 is the worst piece of software I've ever installed on any computer. It took me a day, with the help of multiple forum members' help to get it running the the second day of trying because I had to repair the program and then download the 98 gigs again.
    The second day of trying I got it to work, but barely. It's almost unusably slow even with modest graphics settings ( I have a 16mg pretty fast dell lap top with a gtx 1080 graphics game box. Two two key peripherals, t rudders and ch throttle quardant are
    are not plug and play.

    I tried to start it the third day (yesterday) and now I'm just getting a blank screen It did work for a day, then crashed for good and now I just get a black screen. That it I'm trying to start it from the FS program icon, but apparently you can't start
    it from the program icon like every other program; it must be started from some game box thing?

    I don't understand how microsoft allowed this to be released in this state.

    so my question is to I have to do a setting repair again, and every time I try to use it (which I'm obviously not going to do.

    In general other than the photorealistic world which is very good but not great since I'm using so low graphics setting), it seems to be a unimpressive and extremely flawed product.

    have others had this post playing problem where the actual icon stops working?

    If you’re inserting it, that tells me you bought the Windows disc version and live in Europe, or that you bought a copy of Flight Simulator X which is PC only. There is no Xbox disc release at this time.

    No disc version of Flight Simulator will work on any Xbox

    Flight Simulator 2020 only works on Series consoles, One consoles are not compatible

    Usual useless answer. Make sure that updates are installed, make sure your anti-virus is up-to-date. These are bad excuses for non working software. Even when "all WIndows updates are installed" (how could they not? you can't stop them from installing!) nothing works.

    I've lost my money in Flight Simulator, but I'll not loose it twice: today both Flight Simulator AND the underlying OS will be removed...

    Hiya!!

    For me personally, I'm super stoked about the upcoming release of Flight Simulator on XBOX. I have been a die hard participant of the Flight Simulator franchise since the very beginning on my Tandy 1000 Computer and the graphics looking back now were awful
    but then it was super awesome. As the years went by, the game got better and better. When Flight Simulator X came out, it was phenomenal in my eyes but then Microsoft just stopped working on it. I know it will be released for PC first and then XBOX, either
    ways it will be in my collection!! :)
