Flight Simulator Error at Launch

Discus and support Flight Simulator Error at Launch in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I'm in the Game Pass Beta. I've installed (at least I think) Flight Simulator.     Flight Simulator Error at Launch


    I'm in the Game Pass Beta. I've installed (at least I think) Flight Simulator. When I click play the following error message appears:

    "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64_8wekyb3d..\FlightSimulator.exe

    The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

    I've run a CHKDSK, Updates, and reboot, uninstalled and attempted reinstall. Same result. How can I fix?

    I have Error: 0x8007042b when launch Flight Simulation and Forza Horizon 5 via PC game pass.

    I have this error when I try to launch Forza Horizon 5 and Flight Simulator. Launch Xbox app is fine.

    This issue start at first time launch. I never play Forza and flight sim in my life.

    Same problem. Flight Simulator won't launch from MS Store and reports this error. Also on Dev build 20190. How will we know when Microsoft resolves this issue?

    Thank you for reaching out to the Xbox forums! I understand that you no longer have access to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. To further assist, can you please provide additional details to the following questions?

    Are you receiving a specific error code while trying to launch the game or is it refusing to launch at all?
    Did you recently receive this error after a Windows update or an update with Flight Simulator?
    Are any other PC games refusing to launch or having errors other than Flight Simulator?
