Flight Simulator - Cant play after update

Since the latest patch I am not able to play the game anymore... once I get into the worldmap and click fly, the game loads and after that a picture of the world map shows up again (right above the airport, the grey map you see when u are picking the departure
airport) followed by a crash to desktop shortly after... If I reload the game, the fly button stops working...

Before the patch the game worked perfectly

i noticed you played flight simulator i wonder if it has something to do with playing on games for windows i played tinker and flight simulator

there is no update for the flight simulator available for me...

To mute the music playing while the app is updating. Click the right mouse button on the speakers in the system tray and select 'Open Volume Mixer'. Slide the scrollbar until you come to Microsoft Flight Simulator and click the mute button. This will only
mute Flight Simulator, other apps will still play sound
