Flight Simulator 2020 won't run

When I install the program and click on Play for the first time I just get a black screen and nothing happens. My PC comfortably meets the recommended specs but I'm running a preview build (19042.450) I tried installing and running through the
Xbox app as well as through the store, both gave the same result. Going back to the previous build isn't really an option because I will lose some programs I've tried every suggestion I've come across but nothing has any effect. Any advice?

I can NOT get MS Flight Simulator (2020) to install on my Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Evaluation Copy Build 20190.rs_prerelease.200807-1609. After installing the XBox Game Pass for PC (Beta) and then trying to install Flight Sim Loader Client, it won't
launch, but presents an invalid file path message:

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. Others here have recommended that I exit the insider (DEVELOPER CHANNEL) program by doing a complete fresh Win 10 install. I finally bit the bullet and did so, and YES, I was FINALLY able
to download the 95gb base level game via my $1 first-month Game Pass for PC from Microsoft XBox website.

Game is very pretty but really needs control surface(s) e.g. Joystick/Throttle of some kind, and the planes even on easy mode are VERY touchy (overly responsive to controls using keyboard/mouse). Nearly impossible to fly to be candid. Again, this likely
would be better with better controls other than keyboard/mouse. The game seems very much still BETA to me, but that's fine, at some point you have to pull the trigger.

My plan was to use Acronis True Image to get a snapshot of my ProgramFiles\Windows APPS folder with the game working and then revert to my old insider build and try to overwrite the WindowsApps directory with the valid 95GB from the game. Due to folder
permissions in Windows 10, apparently only the TRUSTED INSTALLER can write to the Windows 10 apps folder. Thus my plan to use Acronis to 'back door copy the 95gb Flight Sim data files FAILED. It's VERY annoying, hoping MS / Xbox / Asobo will find out why
the Insider Builds don't operate properly with MSFS (2020 edition). Please and thankk you guys!

You will be happy to know that a standard Xbox controller is enough to play Flight Simulator 2020 and any other game on Xbox consoles. The Dell XPS range of laptops don't have dedicated graphics processors as far as I'm aware of.

As stated by [Farscape], the minimum is a GTX 770. The graphics hardware in a Dell XPS range depending on its age, could be anything from Intel HD Graphics 520 (2015 model) to Intel Iris Plus (2020 model), neither of which are dedicated graphics hardware
for modern games.

Without a dedicated graphics chip, Flight Simulator 2020 won't run.

You can play Flight Simulator 2020 on a laptop, but it needs to be a laptop designed for gaming with dedicated graphics hardware from either NVIDIA or AMD.
