Flight Simulator 2020 won't launch to complete install

So
I have Xbox GamePass for PC, and I am able to get through the first portion of install. However, when I try to launch / play (tried from different places), I get this error. To note, my install was supposed to go to the D drive as that's my default game
install location. So it doesn't surprise me that trying to launch from C would fail. However, as this is a windows store app, I can neither see inside the windowsapps directories or change the icon to try launching from D. Any ideas?

I have the same error and are just in a chat with the customer service. Let's see if any help.

Same thing here too. I can't even revert to vanilla Windows 10 without losing all my apps and settings... Kinda BS....

No, it was the XBOX support and after a few, little helpless, tries, they forwarded it to FlightSim support. Awaiting feedback from there.

Yes, updating to the latest insider build solved the problem, exactly one day too late, I blew tons of hours on a test reinstall of "retail" Windows 10, and was of course able to download the 91GB. Long story short I had to re-download it all again today
into the insider build. Overall it was a learning experience. Thanks for posting the 'solution'.
