Flight Simulator 2020 searching for updates forever

Hi, when I try to install the game, it is searching for updates after the "push any button" screen.

Unfortunately it is searching for updates forever. Nothing more happens. Any ideas someone?

This didnt work - every time I use task mananger to kill it, the next time I run the game, it gets stuck on the 'blue loading bar'. The only thing that allows me to get back to 'Checking for updates' is a complete uninstall and re-install of the game.
I'm then stuck at that page.

Refund time!

I waited about 30 minutes, then killed it via task manager. When I launched it again it proceeded and told me it needed to download 91.36GB. It seems to be working now.

Hi,

If you do a Google search it only shows Flight simulator for PC. It also only shows Flight Simulator 2020 only on PC on the Xbox website. There is no mention of the game being available on Xbox yet. It's not being false advertised.
