Flight Simulator 2020 Premium content not showing

I bought the standard edition game from steam, and then used the in-game marketplace to upgrade to premium deluxe. None of the content I paid for is appearing in the game. The content manager shows the new content (like SFO) but doesn't have a version number
or size next to it.

Things I have tried

-Signing out and in to steam

- Closing steam and re-opening

-Signing out and into MS from in game

- Uninstalling (including removing roaming app data) and re-installing

Odd observation:

- Uninstalling the specific roaming app data folders for the new content let me download the new content from the package manager (3ish gigs). The content however does not appear in game. If you re-start the game the package manager downloads a 130ish mb
file that resets the content to have no version number or size again.

I asked for a refund from steam but they would not give me it -so i'm stuck with content I paid for but not able to use. Please help.

I have exactly the same problem, I used the in game market place to do the upgrade, cost a lot of money.

I have tried everything that they recommended, I have signed out, and back in. Reset the game from the app launcher and downloaded from new. I get exactly the same screens you are getting the contents are named, but nothing has downloaded.

It keeps saying relaunch the game to update the core content, but this makes no difference either.

Microsoft are a poor software retailer when they can take your money and cannot provide the content!

Any help from anyone would be great.

This solved my problem - but the file for me was in Roaming instead of Local. Thanks dude! Made my day.

I have the same issue, but the game is downloaded through xbox / gamepass installed on windows 10. It seems that there is as specific, basic version of FS2020 which has the content, but it can not be enabled. I can also see in the "Bundles" section that
the upgrades is marked as "bought". There is also reference to this problem on "flightsimulator.zendesk.com" which states the following:

If you subscribed to Game Pass on top of purchasing a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator, make sure that you are not launching the Game Pass version instead
of your copy. Game Pass PC does not come with the entitlements for the Deluxe or Premium deluxe edition.

The problem is that it does not say where this other version is coming from.

Most likely a user problem, don't you think?

The main issue is that this game is for my 11 year old whom has already been at home for six months.

I have subscribed to this issue, but I have noted that somebody posted that we need to contact MS directly. Why don't they just post the link to download the "right" version?
