Game crashs to desktop while loading (right before flying) or during flight (does not take so long).

Nvidia GTX 1080Ti w/ Ryzen 5 3600 - All drivers updated - Nvidia 452.06 - Windows 10 2004 Build 19041.450

Believe or not after lots of troubleshooting the worst problem was the problem, a.k.a. my hardware.

Apperently there's some issues with my memory clock, when i tuned it down, the game worked fine.

Hopefully this helps others. I downclocked my memory, core clock, increased power limit and also set a very aggressive fan profile to keep temps as low as possible. Sure enough, my stability improved significantly. I've played for hours on end without
crashing.

I then removed my underclock and still no crashing. The only thing that remained was my custom fan profile. Turns out my card was running at about 80 degrees in this game and the temp limit was set to 83. My guess is that it would spike up to that and then
crash.

With my new profile, I run at a stable 60 degrees. It has crashed on me once or twice since, I suspect there is still an application level issue which hopefully will be fixed in the next few patches but I can play for hours now without issue.

Thanks for letting me know. I'd not had any issues in other games.

Currently playing around with my GFX core and memory clock (currently underclocking) as I don't run any overclock on my hardware. Will see if it makes any difference.

The problem for me was my GPU, more specifically the memory clock and modules were faulty, it might be your gpu aswell but not the memory clock, could be the core clock or some other problem with your GPU. After i swapped mine, the problems were over.

I'm also getting this exact same set of errors causing Flight Simulator 2020 to crash to desktop. Running a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x and Nvidia GTX 1070. I'm on the latest MB chipset drivers, BIOS, GFX drivers and Windows 10 update.

I've installed the latest redistributables from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads as
suggested in some other threads on this. Have played around with my memory clock as suggested by Lukas but still getting this issue. I've also removed some RAM (alternating sticks) the further attempt to isolate if this is a memory problem, which it doesn't
appear to be as I get this crash regardless.
