    Flight Simualtor 2020 returns to desktop after 'Press Any Key to start' screen


    Like many others, I'm having trouble installing MSFS2020. I've read so many suggestions and carried out so many repairs, installs and re-installs. I've checked everything from Credentials to permissions. But it all still fails at the dreaded 'Press any
    Key to start' screen.

    I've tried to download and run from both the Microsoft and Xbox sites, but all to no avail. If anyone can help, I shall be eternally grateful.

    My system details are:

    Windows 10 Home edition

    Version 2004

    OS build 19041.508

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz

    Installed RAM: 32.0 GB

    Display: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER

    Flight Simulator 2020 I open it and at the start it says "Press any key to start" and I press a key and it just flashes and says the same message again and it just keeps happening no matter what key I press or how many times I keep trying.
    I had this very issue, went to a black screen with a circle and it pops back saying "Press any key to start". The fix for me was to install "Xbox Beta" from microsoft store and running fs 2020 from the xbox app. The very same thing Alvro1967 discovered.

    Many people get stuck with the download of FS 2020. But there is not even a manual available!!! No Key code is being sent!! But they take the payment. Yes!!

    I have installed, reinstalled, repaired and reset and followed every suggestion I have read. All to no avail. It always ends the same way, I press any key to start and it returns me to the desktop. Totally frustrated here.
