    Flight Sim 2020 on Windows will not start after graphics card upgrade


    Running Windows 10 Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

    Installed FS2020 a few days ago. Got a new RX590 graphics board. Installed it with no problem. Try to start FS2020 now, and all I get is a pop-up UAC to install "MS Store Package Dependency Installer". Click yes, it brings up the store app and says
    "already installed" and FS will not start. How to fix this? I spent a good chunk of change on graphics card and controller and cant play. Help!

    I got the same problem!

    Everything was fine before the update, then the update was installed in the Background and now nothing is working and its stuck on the same screen.

    I got it working from this guy:

    I had this same problem a few days ago and after trying loads of things and getting really frustrated, I finally managed to get it going again. The problem is, that I can't remember what the ultimate fix was, but it might have been
    this:

    Try reinstalling gaming services using the following steps:

    • Launch powershell as an administrator and enter “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”
    • In the same powershell window, enter “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”
    • Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.
    • Try launching the game again. Re-install the game if necessary.
