Flickering squares on screen

When I started playing Dragon Age Inquisition I noticed a really weird graphical issue, flashing squares on most particle effects in the game, I have a similar issue with Call of Duty Advanced Warfare but it was only on character faces.

I've tried

Uninstalling the game and reinstalling it

Powering down the console and unplugging it for about 10 minutes

Different HDMI cables

Changing picture settings

Screen Flickering

Since the last update for the xbox I have had problems with my screen flickering. It seems to be doing it only in Hulu and Netflix. I know other people have had this problem, but I have yet to see an actual solution. Wondering if anyone had a solution
out there. The screen has no problem when playing games or using other apps. Cable works fine. I recently started using a receiver but the problem didn't come til a week or two after I got it and right after the last update. Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear you're still having troubles. Do you have a different HDMI cable you can test to see if that helps clear up your issue?

You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
my problem.

If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

I'm sorry to hear that. Here are the steps that you can try for your concern.

Solution 1. Power cycle your console

Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

Solution 2. Try resetting your tv settings and double check your hdmi cable.
