    Flickering Monitors when in Party Chat through Xbox Game Bar


    As the title describes, both of my monitors (ROG PG278Q) start to flicker when coming in and out of games in Rocket League. This issue only occurs while I am in a party chat via the Xbox Game Bar app (which I love btw). I think the issue has to do with my monitor having a ULMB feature, which is setup to only turn on while I am in Rocket League.

    It appears (pure speculation) that the monitor is switching between G-Sync (default setting) and ULMB when a game of Rocket League loads. But more odd is that it is only happens when in a party chat through the XBox Game bar application. Even stranger is that both monitors are flickering.

    Let me know what further information you would need to help me troubleshoot this issue. I am not sure where to start.

    All applications involved are up to date.

    How would you recommend that I do that? It is a Windows default application. It is not user installed.

    Why cant my XBOX party hear me on PC unless Gamebar is open? my default devices settings are correct on both Xbox And Gamebar apps.

    There is a workaround: in Game Bar you can pin the party chat so that it stays active when the Game Bar overlay disappears. Click the pin icon on the party chat widget. Hopefully they fix it properly soon.
