    Hi I have an issue where the whole screen flickers on and off when on dashboard and in game play but is fine when watching DVDs and in settings menus. this is very frustrating. It's destroying my game play. Kinda wish I had of got a playstation 4 now as
    I have had nothing but grief since getting this Xbox one

    Ive had exactly the same thing tonight, tried watching a blu ray and i got the black screen... dvd works fine... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    I got the white screen of death once I signed in.

    I had recently downloaded an update after not playing my xbox for a while. It completed the update just fine, but when I signed into my profile. it opened up a blank black screen with the browser cursor that was movble and the screen was flickering until
    it went to the big white screen. What happned??!!

    I'm having the same problem. I switched different hdmi ports, new hdmi wire, hard reset etc...... This is unacceptable

    Between matches on BF4 I hit the xbox button and then the screen flickered and went black. I could hear that everything was working fine but the screen was black.

    Previously, I saved my info instead of erasing everything. But I just spent another 20 minutes doing a full reset as instructed, but got the same result when I inserted a DVD: still the exact same flickering, switching
    between static, black screens, and the images from the DVD.

    Oh, sorry, this will happen at any time, I have not experience it happen during a game but I have had it happen when on the dashboard, in the store and whilst using the Blu ray app (watching a DVD) thank you again.
