Flawed Reputation System

Can someone tell me how feedback and complaints are reviewed and validated? It seems like anybody can file a complaint and ruin someone's reputation level regardless if it's true or false.

I know for a fact I received false feedback for unsupporting and cheating.

i have been put on avoid me rep for no reason, you play with characters you like and if there not meta people give you bad rep, you beat them you get bad rep, i have had my account for 13 years paying a yearly gold membership and i think its a disgrace that
i cant play because immature people giving bad rep for no reason and i want something done about it

Unfortunately, the reputation is not "verified". It is directly related to the complaints that are made to you !

 

So basically anybody can file a "FALSE" complaint against anyone and impact their ability to find multiplayer games.

If they are not verified, how does this protect players that are not doing anything wrong?

 

Many of us are experiencing the same issue. They'll tell you that they have an algorithm that weeds out the false complaints from the legit ones, but I can tell you first hand that that is not true, as I and many others have been falsely placed in the "avoid
me" zone. They will then tell you to post something in the
forums.xbox.com/.../4276.aspx to state your issue and have your case reviewed. Unfortunately that hasn't resulted in anything being done, at least for me. Give it a shot perhaps you'll have better luck.

No Colic it is not. The problem here is that this is an enforcement issue, and not something that support can help with. Those that are having this issue need to post in the uservoice forum I linked. That is the best way to help bring the situation to light,
and those posts get voted on by users like yourself. Before you add another post to that section, look to see if there has been a post already set up and vote on that one.
