"Flawed reputation system "Avoid Me"

I was advised by this thread ([Fix] "Avoid Me" Reputation) and the Xbox Official Staff that closed the thread.

I play an unpopular character in a popular game (Bastion in overwatch). About every third match someone who hates the character says they are going to report me for throwing. They
get very hostile and aggressive.



I am not throwing the game, I am just playing a character they don't like. I have myself muted in chat and just listen. I don't send offensive messages.



“Poor Teamwork”

"This is defined as “not trying to complete map objectives or constantly communicating in a negative fashion”, including calling teammates “horrible”.

Blizzard says that “Poor Teamwork” is not choosing a hero that isn’t optical for the team, or not talking in team chat."

Overwatch will soon let you report players for ‘poor teamwork’

I report them for hostile, aggressive, and offensive language. And they report me for (I'm guessing) unsporting behavior: throwing the game. This happens often because a lot of
people don't like the character I play. But I am playing the game, I just want to play the character I like.



Now my reputation has been “Good” for about 3 years, now it is “Avoid me” and I can’t play anymore. This is extremely unfair. Check my chats, my messages, my reports, reports against
me, my play stats. Check anything. It will show that I am being unfairly reported and my reputation is suffering due to it.



Please help. The system is being abused to hurt someone that is just trying to play the game.

Flawed Reputation System "Avoid Me"

There is currently a huge flaw in the reputation system. People are absolutely abusing this system and people are getting placed in the "Avoid Me" for no reason which basically deprives them of the ability to play multiplayer in the games they love. Myself
and several other community members have contacted xbox support to try and find a way to fix our reputation however each and every time we've been told the same thing. This is that they've been receiving a lot of complaints and there is nothing that they can
do. The best advice they give us is to contact the xbox enforcement team who are the only ones that can do anything. We've all tried getting in contact but have received no response.

I am currently waiting on a response to when our account reputations will be restored and this flawed system will be removed or fixed. At the moment I feel as if I am wasting my money on subscriptions and games seeing that I can't play the multiplayer games
that I love.

Rep is the way other gamers consider your behavior online. To get a better rep play as many coop games as you can with a large pool of gamers.

you already been answered you can only change your reputation yourself

Hence why the thread was locked because you refused the official and correct answer

Noone but you can fix your behaviour

Not throwing the game but not working with your team
