Flawed reputation system "Avoid Me"

I have received the "Avoid Me" reputation without being un-sportmanlike or being negative in any manner.

The only game I really play with this account is Overwatch, and usually just the competitive mode at that. I sincerely believe I am reported simply because of my hero/character choice. I have never intentionally "threw" any game, never interferred with
other characters, never send any negative message (though received many negative messages), and I don't use a microphone (so I don't use any communication, let alone negative communication at all).

Additionally, within Overwatch, I play at the highest levels of competitive play (at the Grand Master rank which is the top 1% of the playerbase) which means I couldn't throw or troll other players at that level of play and stay at that rank. And my win
percentage in competitive stays above 70%. So if I'm not using negative communication and the stats show I perform well at the game, why should I be punished? I cannot even play this game anymore due to the queue times (with the queue being north of 20 minutes
at least).

I should be not punished simply, and purely, because of my hero choice. Especially if my choices in game show I'm amongst the best in world at it and I positively contribute to my team in game.

The Xbox reputation system has failed me and I now cannot play mutiplayer (due to the queue times) and have fun.

Flawed Reputation System "Avoid Me"

There is currently a huge flaw in the reputation system. People are absolutely abusing this system and people are getting placed in the "Avoid Me" for no reason which basically deprives them of the ability to play multiplayer in the games they love. Myself
and several other community members have contacted xbox support to try and find a way to fix our reputation however each and every time we've been told the same thing. This is that they've been receiving a lot of complaints and there is nothing that they can
do. The best advice they give us is to contact the xbox enforcement team who are the only ones that can do anything. We've all tried getting in contact but have received no response.

I am currently waiting on a response to when our account reputations will be restored and this flawed system will be removed or fixed. At the moment I feel as if I am wasting my money on subscriptions and games seeing that I can't play the multiplayer games
that I love.

Rep is the way other gamers consider your behavior online. To get a better rep play as many coop games as you can with a large pool of gamers.

Thank you. Its hard to improve one's reputation when I can't find online games due to the queue times. Hopefully, things will it better somehow.

Remember reputation is all about getting along with people

If you don't because you don't work with your team it's better for you to leave the matchbefore jt starts.then get an unsportmanslike rep

Remember rep is how well you interact with others

Not how others follow you

 

YYou need to change your behaviour

If you don't work with your team and you get bad rep then it means the system works

Not it broken

There is No I in team

One of the requirements of rep us teamwork and sportmanship

It's not rocket science

You cant annoy players and they don't have the right to avoid you that would mean it's broken

Reputation doesn't work that way in real life what makes you think it works any different

 

Except I do work with my team. I communicate when I can and work together. I don't use toxic communcation nor do I intentionally "annoy" players. The system doesn't work for me because I am playing competitive in good spirit and try my hardest to win with
my teammates. However, despite my rank & win percentage, my teammates simply report me because of my character. Often times, before the match finishes and many times before the match even starts!

 

if you don't listen to your team you aren't working with them

You are arbitrary

Not exactly a team player

Sportmanship is a big part of rep

If you are a tank or a healer and the team wants to do every mob but you want to just rush thru it

Guess what happens when you don't listen to the team even if you heal or clear mobs

You may score well but your rep is bad because you ignored your team members

Change your behaviour or join another lobby that accepts your choice

By being arbitrary you ignored your team and unsportmanslike

It's the community that decides what your rep is just like in real life

You didn't want to work with your team . Now you can work with others with the same bad rep

And maybe learn some team work
