Flashing white power button on console.

I've had to talk to customer support twice now which resulted in me having to reset my system to factory defaults. Supposedly an update wasn't correctly downloaded. I was playing COD and the system froze in between the end of the game and exiting the online
game. It did the same before with 2k15.

Since the system froze, I had to power it off by using the power button on the console. It cut off but now I've been looking at a white flashin light on the console's power button for over an hour.

I've read it's an update but also read it shouldn't last this long. Any help? Thanks.

Sorry to hear about the issue. If you're still experiencing this issue, let's start with a power cycle so we can clear the Xbox One consoles system cache.

Follow the steps below to power cycle your Xbox One console:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.
