Discus and support Flashing TV in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I just set up my Xbox One with my new cable provider, Verison Fios.     I just set up my Xbox One with my new cable provider, Verison Fios. Ive got the HDMI cords going from the cable box to the Xbox and then to the TV. Now it shows my channels and everything works including the sound, but the TV will show the picture for half
    a second and then it goes out and back on, like it's flashing rapidly. I've already contacted xbox support and tried a bunch of reseting and unplugging but it's failed. Also TV is a brand new 60" Visio. Please help!!!

    I'm having the same problem. Motorola HD box. No PVR. Consistent flashing all channels.

    Any idea why my tv screen is flashing while like something is skipping? Have checked all the cables. Did it in Netflix and while playing a game using the disk.

    Believe it or not I'm having the same issue have you tried to adjust the output signal to a lower rating like 720

    Yes. I've tried it all the way down to 480. That still didn't work

    Hey meeuse425 - do you have an AVR or other device (besides the Xbox and cable box) in your HDMI chain?

    Some Verizon boxes don't allow more than 1 device between them and the TV.

    Thanks. Sorry about the problem. With the Xbox One turned on and the HDMI-in cable (from the Verizon box) fully seated into the Xbox, can you pull the power cord on the Verizon box and plug it back in? Does that help at all?

    Also, what's the exact make and model of your Verizon box?

    Hey meeuse425 - do you have an AVR or other device (besides the Xbox and cable box) in your HDMI chain?

    Some Verizon boxes don't allow more than 1 device between them and the TV.
