Flashing pixels (aka "snow" for old folks) on screen - storm damage?

I unplugged every device including the xbox... Just to be sure it wasn't "electrical" interference from another device (like a fan) or the neighbor (in a condo). I'm seeing random pixels... So, by process of elimination, I'm sure (well 99.99% sure) I narrowed
it down to just the xbox.

Question is... anyone seen "snow" / "flashy pixels" like that ? If you're old enough to remember, I'm seeing pixels on the screen flashing randomly like when your older sister turned on her hair dryer or burnt dinner in the microwave, causing "flashing snow"
in the old over-the-air reception on the TV.

It's annoying but reminiscent and kinda nostalgic. Anyone seen this? Including pic. Thanks![View:sparklyxbox3.jpg]

snow is pretty much just white pixel blocks in real life as well.

i repeat, can someone please enlighten me and show me this fabled good snow graphics that exist in some game? what were you expecting? its a weather effect, it looks like snow.....

 

Possible day/night map variants?

That sounds good in theory but I hated blinding maps in GOW2 and GOW3. Maybe H4 could make it better?

 

Have you tried checking your HDMI cables? It's possible it could be a loose connection or a bad cable. If you're connected to a switch try cutting out the middle man and putting the HDMI straight to the tv. Hope this helps!
