Flashing lines/ dots while playing games

So i recently purchased my Xbox one s. Have been playing fifa 17 no problem for the past week, all of a sudden while in a game all these lines appeared making it completely unplayable. I have got battlefield 1 for Christmas so i thought i would pop that
in see if it was just an issue with fifa but no the lines appear on this too. I have tried switching HDMI cables and using a different port both with no luck. Sorry i don't know the technical name for this problem but any help would be much appreciated. Tom

Game or movie? If movie then press Y while it is playing and move to the three dots (...). Then select the Triangle with a line underneath.

If a game then I confess to not knowing.

 

What Does A Flashing Green Dot Mean?

Usually a flashing green dot means you have background downloads enabled and you are downloading something while your system is off

 

Its the large triangular shapes that are the problem the small faded lines are from taking the picture on my phone.

Sorry to hear that this is affecting now both games. Is this occurring only when you're playing games on your Xbox One, or is it when you're watching anything on your TV as well? We recommend first checking out the troubleshooting article for

troubleshooting 4K and HDR on Xbox One S if you haven't already. Additionally, do you have another TV to test your Xbox One S on to see if you're still seeing the graphic errors?
