Flashback on backwards compatibility.

Was overjoyed last week when Flashback appeared in my download list. Not a perfect reboot but a well made love letter by its original creators. Im playing through it and have had an over the top number of system crashes when i reload the game after I died.
Also i noticed in the death tower the timer fluctuates giving odd readings. By no means a game breaking bug but the system crashes are getting tedious.

Flashback retro-compatibility

I tried to play Flashback from my xbox one since it's now playable on xbox one but at a certain point (when you get the grav belt to jump into the hole at the start of the game) it freeze always at the same place same time. Tried it again today at 15:06
ET still not working......fix this guys i want to play the game i paid for it.....

 

same, everytime i reload a checkpoint from the death the game seems to crash, can get annoying please hurry up and patch this, im loving this game remember the 1993 classic which i never finished

 

Same issue here, it seems to lock up to the point of having the pull the plug, it seems to happen after dying and reloading the checkpoint, or when you finish the jetBike part. It's really annoying to have to pull the power out the back of the console.

 

Same Ball-ache here. Best thing I do is go back to main menu from load choice screen, and start again from scratch, this seems to work, and not having to reset the console. Should get the patch sorted before its available to play though.

 

I am also having random crashes, mostly on the loader screen. Each time the Xbox One is completely locked up.

Note that I am not part of the beta/preview xbox program: this is with the standard/normal xbox os.

 

me too, the crashes always happen when loading from a checkpoint. There was the recent console update & an update for this title, but the crashes are still far too frequent to enjoy the game at present.
