Fixing Profile cards and other problems

Are they gonna come out with an update 2 make where we can edit our profile like on Xbox 360 and fix the friends list and make it 2 where you can accept and decline people like on the 360 but keep the friends list expanded? I swear the xbox 360 had it all
right and simple

Corrupt profile, can't delete the profile off my xbox.

Hello,

I am having problems fixing a corrupt XBL profile. I know the common fix, simply delete the account, and recover it. However, when I go to delete the profile it says "Can't perform Action: there was a problem performing that action." Help me?

I agree too. Leaving out Bio Motto and Location and the ability to have something a bit fun wacky or whatever you want to put in writing, would make your profile on Xbox 1 not look so much like a Drivers License or Passport photo. I mention that because
those two forms of identity are legally formal. And by not having a Bio/motto on your Xbox 1 profile looks just as formal. I'd suggest voicing it on the official feedback site I'm sure others have as regards to profiles. We like to know where other players
are from US, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia? Xbox 1 profiles don't show others location but on Xbox 360 it will.

Regarding the profile info, I do think they should bring back what they had on the X360. The motto, location, and bio all helped to create more of an identity and give people a better understanding of what kind of person you were, or simply a good laugh
if someone was creative enough.

The ONLY reason I could think of as to why they haven't already added it on the XB1 though is likely because of too many numerous people who took advantage of it or who violated the CoC in some way through their profiles. It's also easier to regular profiles
if those options don't exist in the 1st place.

Regarding the friends list, I think they should keep the friends and followers aspect, but I believe they should change it so that if someone follows you, you should not appear to them as a friend, but rather you should appear to them on a whole new list
called "followed" or "following." I also believe someone you've befriended (mutually, when you friend them and they friend you back) should not still show up on your followers list, since they've technically been "upgraded" to friend-status.

 

I think they should make it so they can have both options like you can change the friends list to be like the current xbox one version or you can have it like the 360 version

Gamer Profile – You can now share your location and bio as part of your profile. You can set these options on your Xbox One console and use Xbox One SmartGlass to browse to other people’s profiles and check out their showcase items. Additionally,
you can now select a set of showcase items that are displayed when other gamers look at your profile on an Xbox One console. You can use Xbox One SmartGlass or Xbox One console to add or remove up to six game clips or achievements that will be displayed in
a carousel format.

 

Wow that's good news I'm not a part of this Preview Program thingy. So will receive it with everyone else when the full public official Dashboard version with it, comes out. Anything but that black background which I've put up with since 22/11/2013 makes
a difference.

And change the UI dash even though it looks like it will be limited at first. Voice Messaging is also a wanted Xbox Live Feature too. Voice Messaging at least, between all Xbox 1 consoles, is possible, because all Xbox 1 consoles, have the same audio codec
and hardware.

 

I'm sure that eventually all of our hopes and wishes will come true and this period will seem like a dream.

'Hey, remember when the Xbox One had a dashboard like windows 8?' that's how I see the conversations going, haha.
