Fixed the freezing ......... at least for the time being

I run Kaspersky as my Virus program and it has a feature called "Safe Money". Basic setup set it to be ON by default. I went into my preferences and turned it off. Bingo .......... no more freezing, stopping, hesitation or jerking. Now if I could just
get my score back, I'd be a happy puppy.

TV Signal Freezes

Thanks Remy! Power cycling has fixed my freezing issue for the time being. Highly recommend trying this to fix freezing and sound issues.

 

Console Failure for the Sixth Time (at least)

When warranties are carried out on consoles you always get e-mails updating you on the status of your console with SR numbers and all that jazz. You should be able to give the support agent an SR number of a previous request and they should be able to look
it up that way. As far as your console failing 6 or 7 times and having to be repaired I'll chalk that up to terrible luck as I currently have 3 XBOX 360's in my household, one being an original XBOX 360 purchased in 2006 and it has never had any issues, it's
currently being used as a machine just for Netflix.

As far as the consoles being repaired for free each time (even out of warranty) that's quite generous of them as every other person I've ever heard even out of warranty had to pay a fee to get their console replaced unless this last replacement was years ago
and I wasn't aware of any sort of changes they made. If you have an original white XBOX 360 console then I highly suggest instead of throwing $99 to get it repaired you go ahead and buy a new XBOX 360 S. I currently own 2 of those and have now had 1 for 2
years working perfectly fine with no problems, and another for just a year working perfectly fine. They run cooler, quieter, and have less problems in terms of hardware failures than the original XBOX 360's which were white.

Ultimately the choice is yours but getting them to repair the console for free again, that's probably.. not going to happen.
