[FIXED!] Games not launching and Error 0x80073cfc when trying to download a new one

I FINALLY DID IT! Here is the fix:

You need to go to "Add or Remove Programs", search for "Gaming Services", click on "Advanced Options" and "Repair"

Please leave this here for anyone who may run into the same problem as me, it took me a long time to find this fix

Well , at least there is some “progress” the error code has shifted for me to 0x80073cfc - the app cannot run, reinstalling it should solve the issue. When I try to download any of the 3rd party games on games pass.

so that error message is ERROR_NEEDS_REMEDIATION. The package that this application is part of was modified maliciously.

Is the software you are trying to download available to be legally downloaded or is it potentially blocked? Have you looked into that?
