    Fix Xbox Controller Randomly Disconnecting after February 2015 Firmware Update


    After i update my controller with the February 2015 firmware, both of my controllers with play and charge kit, and oficial xbox one headset adapter has started to get random disconnects.

    A firmware update that was supposed to help other users with disconnection problems has caused me problems!

    I have tried everything from turning off every single wireless device like router, phone, cellphome, notebookr, PS4, headset, printer, desktop.. also restoring the xbox one, moving it, paring with kinect and usb cable and also tried to update again but could
    not because of it has already been updated.

    Tried testing at a friends house with no luck (same issue), tried buying a new controller and updating causing the same issue.

    I cannot play any games because of this, all three controllers keep disconnecting after this update.

    Thanks microsoft, for giving me this problem.. already going crazy with this, how about you fix it now?

    Xbox one connectivity issues

    Hey guys can anyone help, I've never had any connectivity problems with my controller. I recently installed the latest February update as soon as I did this I started having problems with the controller randomly disconnecting. I have tried updating the controller,
    new batteries, power cycle you name it I've tried it and still this problem persists! This February update really sucks!

    Controller Firmware Update - Messed up my controller?!?

    pretty much the same after that latest firmware update cuz I can’t find the original Xbox one controllers all I see on Amazon or in the Xbox store or the new ones with the share button in the middle of the controller and after that update it randomly disconnect then reconnects and the batteries in the back are brand new but when I plug the cord in it stays connected I reported that firmware update issue also hopefully they come out with a fix soon

    I have a similar problem. It started happening after the headset firmware update. My sound quality is good. My problem is it will randomly say that my controller died or disconnected on the screen but the controller will still be on. I have to take out the
    batteries to turn off the controller. The controller reconnects after I put the batteries back in and turn it back on. I change the batteries thinking that was the problem. But even with fresh new batteries it still does it. I see sharks & nobles posts and
    I hope it can all be fixed with the next firmware update. Hope its sooner then later.
