    Fix ur **** eject button it's been a **** problem since day ONE!! Hardware software idc fix it


    when I turn the Xbox on to use it and I wanna change the disc I press the eject button and nothing **** happens I have to reset my Xbox 1 to **** 4 times I have the normal Xbox one ... I don't care if it's fixed on the S I shouldn't have e this kind of problem
    with a **** "next gen" console I've been Xbox fan boy and I'm laughing at my **** self now come the **** on Microsoft get ur **** together I'm sick of being let down by my favourite console over and over again sick of **** hearing people say oh ps4 runs so
    much smoother cuz u know what .... IT DOES!!!!! ****

    Xbox One Error 0x80040900 - Nothing fixes problem

    When you did a factory reset, did you do the following:

    -Hard reset or remove xbox from power source for at least 30 seconds.

    -Push and hold the bind and eject buttons on your xbox.

    - While holding those buttons press the power button. (Xbox will chime)

    - Continue to hold the bind and eject buttons until you hear a 2nd chime.

    - You will be at trouble shoot start up.

    - Choose bottom left option, which is reset xbox.

    - Choose either (I chose this one) "keep games and apps" or "keep nothing".

    -Follow the steps the xbox does through and you are done.

    installing is so screwed up!

    Microsoft has very predictible and stable downloading and installs for the 360. Phil Spencer said Xbox One install problems are one of his highest priority issues to fix on the Xbox One. Question: with all of the software and hardware experience Microsoft has, how could they launch the One with install issues this severe and why hasn't it been fixed in an update.? Were almost a year in and people are still having problems with game installation.

    Sounds like the eject button on the console is malfunctioning, does the button look dirty at all? If so, you can try cleaning it with a soft dry microfiber cloth to see if that helps. Does it make a sound when you press the button at all?

    Hey steve585, have you tried doing a simple power cycle on the Xbox? If it is the software, it can sometimes be fixed by a reset.

    Well, that didn't seem to work either, but thanks for the suggestion. I didn't see that one.

    There's just something about that sounds I kind of like for some strange reason, but I don't think this problem is going to get fixed. Technology in my hands has never been known for taking the easy or common route to a fix. :)

    I remember about six months ago someone with the same problem they simply used a soft cloth to wipe over it and it was fixed you could try that.
