    I'm trying to log into my kids account to link a controller to it. Whenever I try and log into either of my kids accounts I get the following extremely unhelpful message:

    There's a problem with your account. Fix it at account.live.com, then come back to sign in.

    I've gone to the website noted, logged in and looked around to no avail. No indication to what the problem is or how I can solve it. I even reset my xbox one keeping my games and apps. When I tried to add my kids accounts to the xbox one I was asked for
    their password which once I entered it I got the same error message as above.

    Have you tried downloading it from the console? What error message do you receive there?

    Hi there,

    just to be sure, have you logged in at
    http://account.microsoft.com     for all the profiles/accounts that you own and trying to log in to?

    When logged into that link, be sure to validate if all information is correct and up to date, like payment option details, subscriptions etc.

    If you can login there, also check if you can login at
    http://account.xbox.com

    If both work fine, then you should be ablet o download and use the profile on the console.

    As alternate thing to check, be sure to run the Network check on the console to see if that shows any issues.

    From what I understand your description was having difficulty logging in, on Xbox, have you tried to log into your account through the Microsoft website and check if you have the security information updated?
