'Fix this on the web' Notification

A family member is receiving the above message when trying to sign-in, although I, as the parent, am able to sign-in without issues. The message is followed with 'There's a problem with your account. Fix it at account.live.com, then come back to sign in'.

All account information seems to be in order, and there have been no previous sign-in issues.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We see you have an issue with family member signing in. Have you signed in on the family members account on the website? These messages come up sometimes for verification needs, suspicious activity like sign in on many different
devices and many other scenarios.

Thanks for your reply. I went into the family members account and all seems in order, but we’re still having the same issue.

just to be sure, have you logged in at
http://account.microsoft.com for all the profiles/accounts that you own and trying to log in to?

When logged into that link, be sure to validate if all information is correct and up to date, like payment option details, subscriptions etc.

If you can login there, also check if you can login at
http://account.xbox.com

If both work fine, then you should be ablet o download and use the profile on the console.

As alternate thing to check, be sure to run the Network check on the console to see if that shows any issues.

From what I understand your description was having difficulty logging in, on Xbox, have you tried to log into your account through the Microsoft website and check if you have the security information updated?

Try logging in through this link, check your information, your payment options and also the security information.
