    I tried your recommendation. It didn't work...any other suggestions? Thanks for your help!

    we held the xbox button down for 10 seconds and the xbox did eventually shut down and then we unplugged the xbox from the wall, waited 3 miniutes and plugged it back in and stillg ot the smae error messge "fix this on the web."

    Have you tried a power cycle? Hold the button on the Xbox while on for 10 seconds until it turns off. Then unplug the Xbox from the mains for about 3 minutes, plug it back in and boot it up. See if that works.

    Update Failed

    Could you try disable Web Acceleration on your Hughes - TH 1000. This is known to cause issue with Xbox LIVE.

    Make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on your router is turned on.

    I had same exact error code as you and this fixed my problem first time.

    Can you not apply money in your microsoft account to live purchases?

    You could always buy from the web store front for th e xbox one except for last week

    it won't fix his 360 issue
