    Dedicated servers? Then why the lag and connection advantages?

    Dedicated servers are not going to solve all latency issues. If you have a shitty connection, you have a shitty connection. No server is going to fix that.

    Will Xbox One and the new dedicated servers vanquish NAT issues?

    Dedicated servers will most likely fix the NAT problem that some ran into on XBL. Without dedicated servers you are P2P (Peer2Peer) NOW you will be connecting to Microsofts servers instead of connecting to someones IP.

    I restarted my wifi router this morning and it seemed to have fixed the server. I still cant connect to the world consistenly through LAN, but the server I began on my wifi seemed to fix the connection problem I was having.

    It's working today. I didn't do anything to fix it, so maybe it was a server issue yesterday. Today, NAT Type = Toredo is unable to qualify, but Server connectivity = Connected.
