[Fix Request] Xbox has pushed an incomplete update for Series X|S controllers through Xbox...

Hey, everyone. Hopefully this is the right place to post this issue. I'll be making a comment in the Xbox Request thread but if either that or this post have to be removed, the mods can feel free to do so.

Ever since I got my Xbox Series X | S it has had this strange issue regarding its bluetooth connectivity, where the controller gets recognized as a "6 axis 16 button gamepad with hat switch" controller rather than a standard Bluetooth LE Xinput controller if the user has the firmware update from the Xbox Accessories app. A lot more info describing the issue in-depth and the problems it causes can be found in this Microsoft Community forums post: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...eries-xs/c0656273-35eb-4dc0-bfce-cbb2a5ff2002
In a nutshell, it has been deduced that Series X | S consoles update controllers with a different firmware update than the one currently available through the Xbox Accessories app, causing issues for the owners of controllers containing the update from the latter.

As a result, I have been trying to get this fixed to no avail. An option would be to use an Xbox Series X | S console to get the controller properly updated but that is not feasible due to lockdown and it's not really a proper solution for users that only have access to Windows 10 (like me). A long series of getting in touch with Xbox Support/specialists has ended with a specialist redirecting me to this subreddit and try to raise the issue with other specialists/Xbox hardware engineers. I pray that this issue can get resolved in the following Xbox Accessories update because it causes much more trouble than it should. Thank you and happy holidays.
