Fix my Chat privacy issue now

Go to
https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
Yes to confirm.

Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.

I was able to change the settings by using my brother in law's xbox by adding my account to it and the privacy settings showed up on the console. I can see the chat now in my game. Since I did that, the settings now show up on PC.

So without a console to work around this blank settings issue, and not affected there as well, your screwed until this fiasco is fixed.

Okay figured it out. Go to Settings, then Privacy & online safety. My privacy was set to "Custom". I switched it to "Adult defaults" and that fixed my issue.

All of my privacy settings are turned to allow and it still hasn’t fixed the issue
