'fix it' solutions aren't helping my disconnects!

I really don't know what to do. It's been 5 days since this has started and it's getting really annoying.

I've done a myriad of different solutions to fix this.

clear cache, delete profile, clear cache, turn off xbox, download profile... i've cleared the cache three times in a row... i've done it ten times in a row! I've reset my router and plugs a number of times... I've deleted and re-downloaded the xbox live
console update a couple times... I've done other stuff that I can't really remember because I've tried them all in different orders to solve this problem..

Nothing is wrong with my ISP but it is xfinity if that makes a difference. These frequent disconnects from xbox live while in a game of any sort are happening in p2p instances only it seems because I can come here to IE and youtube without problems. My xbox
is connected via ethernet so my ports are open. I can still download things from the marketplace such as the games for gold and such. I haven't tried ALL my online games... do you think that would help with a solution regardless?

this all started happening thursday. I had no problems whatsoever prior to that day. I really hope there is some sort of fix for this (not what you have posted already!) and if there isn't I would hope that MS would be able to refund the month of gold I
just got.

You aren't helping the community.

Smurfs have now ruined competitive play. Ruined it. It's far too easy to make a free account that anyone can throw matches on. You need to start banning smurfs, all of the accounts on the Xbox that the smurf is on, and start going after people with crap
reputation with brand new accounts. Every other game in Overwatch is some guy with 200 gamerscore and a "reputation needs work" tag. Clearly you people are doing nothing if it's this easy to troll an online game.

also on a side note, my controller has the play and charge battery but sometimes it will just disconnect even when charged, any solutions for that as well?

 

well... update..

I fixed it! not really sure how though. I wish I could give insight to my own problem but I dunno! I just kept doing that stuff over and over again and it finally fixed itself. It might have had something to do with me changing my region and stuff back again
but I just went through a lot of unecessary steps. One of those steps was apparently necessary somewhere though.

so no worries here lol! it would have been nice if these things worked on day 1...
