Fix for all the people having problem with Xbox Wireless Adapter drivers.

1. Go to: catalog.update.microsoft.com (it has to be opened with Microsoft Internet Explorer)
   
2. Search for "Xbox Wireless" which should give you 11 results
3. I've chosen the third one (version number 19.29.20.953) because it has the latest version number - click "add" on the right side (might be different wordin english)
   
4. Open that shopping cart thing in the top right
5. Download the driver to any folder and go there and unpack it using winzip/winrar
   
6. Plug in the wireless receiver and open the device manager
7. It should show the troublesome receiver as an unknown device called "XBOX ACC"
   
8. Right click the device, select update driver, select choose manually
9. Navigate to the folder where you unpacked the downloaded thingy
10. Install -> PROFIT
11. Controller and Wireless dongle should pair and work just fine!

Xbox 360 Wi-Fi network adapter driver.

Hi Microsoft, any follow up response to this? I'm having the same problem and have come across many different forums mentioning the same thing; that the problem is with the drivers for the wireless network adapter in the XBox 360 Slim.

 

Wireless USB Keyboard with xbox one

It is recommended to use Microsoft Wired Keyboard, as wireless adapter for keyboard will interfere with Xbox One's internal wireless adapter for Controllers or WiFi, and Xbox One does not have drivers for keyboard wireless dongle.

But @msft - This is a joke guys! I've ran out and bought that [Mod Removed] device the day it was launched because i'm totally thrilled and wanted this piece of equipment since i've bought the best controller money can buy: Your xbox one controller!
And now it doesnt work AT ALL. There is no complete support (basicly everything is missing, including rumble) and we need to manually install some sort of baseline driver FROM MID AUGUST 2015 to get it working. Wooow, bravo. Thats... simply really bad support
on your side. I've managed, it's certainly not that difficult to manual install a driver, but someone with less experience is totally clueless and will return the device as faulty. And this is the first time i've felt that abandoned with any xbox or msft hardware.
And i'm around since the original xbox live beta!

So PLEASE, give us SOMETHING!

 

New drivers just popped up on the Windows Update Catalog, literally an hour ago.

The 64bit version is dated 10/17/2015, and the 32bit one 10/20/2015.

After manual installation, both rumble and headset audio are confirmed to be working wirelessly.

Confirmed. The brand new driver, v20.x, resolves the issues. I got it by just doing an Update Driver on the Xbox Wireless Adapter entry in Device Manager

 

Unplug/replug while connected should work, if not update driver manually using device manager.

 

Now (with the new driver installed) i cannot connect my Xbox Controller anymore. (Connect Button @Wireless Adapter doesnt make the LED blink). Anyone else got that issue?

 

@manu85berlin, you're pressing the connect button on the wireless adapter AND then pressing connect on the controller as well yes?
