  1. fitness apps intermittently crashing

I am livid with the fitness app. It constantly quits while in the middle of working out. Today I got a internet connection error in the middle of my workout and upon checking my internet connection found that my internet connections was fine (other devices
working fine on the same connection) but the fitness app had crapped out. The only way to get it to work again was to exit and restart the app. Unfortunately, I regretfully bought one of the apps (jillian michaels ripped in 30) and am very dissatisfied with
the over all reliability of the Xbox one. I've seen the same problem during game play, although not as often. I have spoke with xbox one support and they have been less then helpful. All of their suggestions are for corrupted apps, etc. This app is not
    corrupted it just is unreliable.

    :)

  2. Xbox Fitness Crashing

Xbox Fitness crashes mid workout all the time. Currently it's hard to make it through even a 10 minute workout without it crashing to the home page. PLEASE FIX. It ruins the work out and you don't record your points. Games/Apps should not be crashing
frequently. The crashing to dashboard problem is by far the most widespread problem. There are countless posts about it. PLEASE FIX!

    fitness apps intermittently crashing

    Hey there THER0FLK0PT3R!

I'm sorry to hear about having to restart the workout like that! Let's see if we can get things sorted for you. =)

To start off, I have a couple questions for you to help us better understand the situation:

    1. You mention the app is intermittently crashing. Do you receive an internet connection error every time it crashes? Or do you receive different errors?
    2. If you receive different errors, can you list out which errors you see?
    3. If you see the same internet connection error every time, can you copy down the exact wording of the error for us?

Also, if you haven't already, I suggest giving these steps a shot to see if they yield better results:

    • Uninstall the Xbox Fitness app by going to "My games & apps", finding the Xbox Fitness app, pressing the Menu button, then selecting uninstall.
    • Power down your console by pressing and holding the power button on your console for 5-10 seconds until it completely powers off.
    • Wait at least 60 seconds.
    • Power the console on again, find the Xbox Fitness app, and redownload it.
    • Once that's done, try another workout and let us know what results you see.

Let us know how everything goes! We'll be standing by to hear back from you! ^_^

  5. I've gotten the internet connection error twice. I believe the message says Internet connection error you are not connected to the internet (but I am when I check with other devices) . Normally, the app will crap out at the end of my session where it gives
you information about your work out session (i.e., your rating, how many stars, etc.. the fun stuff) and it will go back to home. No error message but when i log in to the app again i have have lost the whole work out session and information.

The troubleshooting tips you gave me are the same ones that XBOX support gave me over the phone. I have done the restart and re-install a few times. Lately, my Kinect has been acting up with the app. The app states that the Kinect is not connected but
when I checked in settings the Kinect is fine or at least it sees me and says it is fine. The only way I could get it to work again was to reboot (unplug the power, wait 60 seconds) the console. Worked fine after that but I am always waiting to be disappointed.

    Hey again THER0FLK0PT3R!

Thanks for getting back to me!

Based on what you've posted, it looks like you've had three different errors when using Xbox Fitness:

    1. The internet connection error. (If you ever get this error again please be sure to mark down the exact wording so we'll know precisely which error you're seeing).
    2. The app taking you to the home screen at the end of a session. (No error code at this point).
    3. The Kinect registering as not connected. (It sounds like you've only seen this error once and you sorted it by unplugging your console, waiting 60 seconds, then plugging it back in. Is that correct?)

If I've missed any issues you've seen, please make sure to list them as well so we don't overlook anything. Also, can you let us know how frequently you see each of those issues? For example, it sounded like you've only seen the Kinect issue once, but the internet
    connection error twice.

We'll be standing by to hear back from you! ^_^

Xbox Fitness Crashed And All My Weight Loss Was Reset To Zero

My Xbox Fitness app keeps crashing in workouts as well. It is very frustrating to lose the progress, or get only 5-10 into a workout just to have it crash and work up the motivation to start over. Is there any update on improving Xbox Fitness stability?
