first Xbox one startup issue

When you mention Xbox one first edition, do you mean the initial launch in 2013 that came bundled with Kinect? If this does not work, you might have hardware issues that can cause the console to stop functioning. Could you please provide a picture of the error, and do you also get an error code by any chance?

Thank you for confirming that you have the original Xbox one model. You could still have an issue, and it could be hard drive-related, which is why your OS becomes corrupted every couple of days. Have you also tried to join the Xbox Insider program? And maybe this can fix the issue if you feel that the general OS may not be working well with your console. We have an Omega ring, which allows you to get new updates without worrying about bugs. Unfortunately, I cannot provide many other options or recommended solutions.

Hi. I believe mine's indeed from 2013-2015-ish. Just the first fat One.

Well, if my xbox keeps working like a charm for days on a row after each time a factory reset i can't see how this is a hardware issue.

I do not get an error. the Xbox just keeps hanging at the green startup screen without giving me an error. When this happens every few days i factory reset my xbox again and after 15 minutes i can do whatever i want on the console, without having any issue. So to me it seems as if the startup sofware is somehow not completely ok on my console.

I also tried a USB install, but since my console already has the latest OS, it wont let me instal the same one again from USB.

this problem is getting really annoying...

System Update Troubleshooter has steps that can help - from the first page, select "I need to troubleshoot a system update error", then select which Xbox One model you're using (original, S, or X), and then select the "I am experiencing a startup issue"
option.

Give that a shot, and let us know if you see any improvement!

The scenarios described are stuck on green Xbox startup animation, or no green startup animation where my issue is green startup animation transitioning to black screen.
