    First update for Xbox One is going INCREDIBLY slow.


    Like, painfully slow. I'm getting 15-25 mbps on my laptop but this update is literally moving at less than 1mb per MINUTE. At this rate the 500mb initial update will take roughly 10 hours. Any advice? I saw someone mention streaming settings but I can't
    find any way to access these settings without completing the initial update. Advice?

    System update incredibly slow

    We purchased a new Xbox One today. As soon as we turned it on, it started an update (1 GB). It's been going on for over an hour and is still at 20%. I ran a speed test on my computer and our high speed internet seems fine. I contacted tech and the suggested
    an ethernet cable, but we don't have one (it being 2017 and all...). Any other advice for a fix?

    spent 25 minutes going less than 1mb per MINUTE before jumping back to regular speeds. Was planning to just wait it out til morning but the issue resolved itself randomly it appears

    I have the same issues with my x1 its incredibly slow with start up and going to different tiles, highly disappointed with this consoles performance, the 360 by far beats it in speed and quality, downloading games takes about 30mins, I have high speed internet
    and still the updates can take forever. Are these just defects in the first gen of the x1?

    I got into a game on outpost with a team of campers. It was easy to kill them but it made the game go so incredibly slow. 10 minutes went by and the score was 4000-1200, that slow.
