First screen once powers on doesn't load

Discus and support First screen once powers on doesn't load in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; the green load screen will come on, then the "fisrt page" where my apps show and games... it's black did that like a year ago I done recall what I did...     the green load screen will come on, then the "fisrt page" where my apps show and games... it's black did that like a year ago I done recall what I did to fix it any help?

    I've unplugged, held power 10 sec..

    Lets remove and re-add the profile onto the console alright settings - account - remove accounts once done you can re-add it by double tapping the Xbox home button go to were players sign in and click on add & manage you can add your account there.

    If that doesn't work hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds until the console powers off once done unplug your console from receiving power and sending HDMI signals for 5-6 minutes uninterrupted when you finish plug it back in and start the console
    the green boot screen should load let it finish and check.

    I can go into the app and once I get to the screen to select which profile to load it doesn't go any further.

    Hello PurpleHusky37,

    Is the an intermittent problem or is your Xbox One stuck on a black screen every time you start it up? If its always black after the green startup banner, then may I suggest doing a "Reset this Xbox" using the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    1) Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    2) Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

    3) Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
    EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
    Xbox button on the console.

    4) Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    5) Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
    BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    6) The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    Once the "Troubleshoot" page is displayed just select "Reset this Xbox" and press
    A on your controller. Note, you may need to re-install your games and apps after the Xbox is "Restore factory defaults". For more information see, "How
    to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One    " and “I need help with system updates on my Xbox One” . Let us know if this resolves the issue.

    Green Screen of Death...?

    Im having the exact same problem when i turn on my xbox. first off when it turns on there is about a ten minute delay until i get to the green loading screen. once i get to the green loading screen nothing else happens, not even my kinect is powering on.
    ive let it stay on that screen for a max of 2 hours. i would appreciate it if someone could help me out.

    Broken Xbox

    As long as your controller is on and connected, press and hold both the LT and RT and press the Y button. This should refresh your Xbox home screen, if it's loaded. If that doesn't work, try the following for a full power reset:

    Make sure you can see the status light on the power brick. Press and hold power while the Xbox is turned off and keep holding until you see the status light on the power brick go orange. Unplug the power supply from the console and from the wall. Go ahead
    and unplug the cord from the power brick as well. Wait a couple of minutes and then plug the cord back into the power brick, then into the console, then finally into the wall. It's recommended to plug directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector.
    Once it's all plugged back in, go ahead and power it on.

    What does it do at this point? It might be worth trying to hold down RT+LT and press Y once more if it doesn't load the home screen.

    unplug the power cord from your xbox console for about 30 seconds. Then plug it back in and turn the xbox on by pushing the button first.

    Your screen should have the green loading screen loading and then it should work.
