First Realm experience...

I would think that lies in specific permissions for the realm? I would guess that it's not a setting on the Microsoft account itself, but how the realm is secured. I don't have a lot of first hand experience in this, but take a look at settings for the
realm? Maybe invite yourself to the realm?

Another thing to check would be what edition of Minecraft it is for the "Pocket Edition"? I'd check if there is a proper Minecraft edition on iOS which might cause the issue, as opposed to the Xbox One edition being the cause, it could be that there is
a Minecraft (bedrock edition) which would be cross-platform, and not the "Pocket Edition"

Let us know if that doesn't seem to be the case and we can see some other steps for investigation.

First which way are you trying to join the realm with a code? Or just an invite?

If so you might have to make sure the host has you added into the realm in settings or change the settings of the realm to allow you.

i have been on red dead since it came out and i remember when this game was the best game i had ever played online,but now all it is a bunch of little kids with modds and the ability to hack your accounts and PING your IP ddress to be able to know when your
online and to be able to hack into your IP to get info about you and your family,i personally am sick and tired of the lack of support from the enforcement team as well as xbox live customer support, so me and my friends are seriously considering switching
to ps3 because at least their you wont have to pay to be stalked and harassed.

i understand what you're saying in paying and expecting to be secure, and MS trys to have measures to prevent hackings of their console, as does sony to some extent in trying to prevent hacking of consoles, but nothing is fail-safe

if ms and sony fix one issue, then someone will find a way to hack it, and if ms and sony fix that, then the hackers find a way ariound that etc... it's a revolving door

with games and cheating, yes it should be on both parties, but more so on the developer for monitoring and trying to curb their community from hacks and cheating with in their games

either way, cheating starts with the players and ends with the players, they should be mature enough to not cheat and not ruin great games.

but you are right, MS was on a tyrade at one point and banned like crazy, but it's laxed now

and devs were also banning, and still do, but doesn't seem like it use to be

^^though i'm sure they do monitor and ban with new releases and months after, but after a year or so, they tend to walk away and cheating runs rampant more so

all we can do is email both MS and the game developers and let them know...whether they react or not is up to them

Why MS charges us $60 a yr is beyond me when our games are littered with this trash ruining our game expeince for every1. Im tired of it. Why pay to be cheated when I can play for free and be cheated on PS3 with a blu-ray player?
