First Name, Last Name and email greyed out in XBox support chat

also can't use Microsoft support as first and last name boxes are greyed out 😡😡😡😡

Can anyone help been trying for two days to contact support via chat and the first name surname fields are always greyed out so it won't let me start the chat?

I have tried everything that it is suggested on the forums but nothing worked, as for the subscription to Gold it shows as active on the site but no elsewhere. And as for contacting support, I can't chat withe them because the boxes where my name and last
name should be are grey out and I can insert my name to move past that page to chat with a representative.

You should be able to update your contact details at
https://account.live.com as that is where those details should be getting pulled from.

However, if that does not work you can also choose to call them:
support.xbox.com/contact-us That link will give you the phone number and opening hours for your region.

Thanks SunkNath, I tried with both Edge and Firefox browsers after having cleared all browser data. I can't attach a screenshot but basically the problem lies at Step 1.

I get:

'Invalid data. Please check your information'.

greyed out box with correct details.

The green box under Step 2 never goes dark green.

All my Microsoft account information is displaying as normal.
