isnt that the guy from MW3 campaign.. anyway, yawn for another copy and paste game with nothing new - COD4 is still by far the best because it was simple. These new perks and crap just aren't required

Whether the next Call of Duty looks better than the previous is not important to me. I like seeing visuals improve, but the reason I dislike Call of Duty: Ghosts, BO2, and MW3 is because I don't find the game fun. I would like
to see the next game go back to being simple and set in the WW2 era.. but fat chance

My take on the matter is the same it is every year. I pick the game up, play it for a month or so and then put it down. Each time I put down is just that little bit sooner then the last. This franchise is going down the pan or I am just getting too bored
of the same cut and paste. Treyarch are the only people keeping this going for me but with Sledgehammer behind the helm I am pretty curious to see what their approach is.

If you ask me, I would do away with the online rank system and just incorporate something totally new. There has to be an alternative to prestiging or levelling up that they can think of, surely? Most MP games have a rank system but would it really hurt
to think or another way just to stand out?

Blops 1 had it perfect!

I have my doubts for this game but I will reserve the rest of my judgement for now.

 

Though I will add that the picture is pretty good looking if that's in game.

 

Cheers Cloud mate. i always buy COD for the single player i agree with the ranking system and prestiges we need something with real ranks but more rewarding

As much as I'd love to see the layout of CoD's MP changed up for once, I feel like that persistent rank system with unlocks by level is what put CoD ahead of the curve and I feel like Activision is too stubborn to try something new.

Something based on experience and skill level (Halo 3 style) would be neat.

 

The sliding and looking around corners are by far the worst non improvements made in cod

 

@MAD COW we all know the skill based ranking system wont be in COD because it don't take skill to play COD

N7, you're welcome my friend! Something more rewarding for CoD MP sounds good. I wouldn't mind seeing more ties between MP and SP either. Camo for those that complete the game on legendary, or something alike.

Mad Cow, stubborn they are, that much is true. I hate how I have to wait a few years to see Ghosts 2 and as much as I disliked Ghosts, I will buy 2 just to see the conclusion. As for the MP I wouldn't grumble if they added skill tracking or some skill tree
or something like that. Ghosts MP was poor for the classes. All those different soldiers yet no tree to follow? That would of been the best place for it.
