First login email profile.

How do I see what profile I used to buy games because when I open the games it prompts me to open with profile that was used to buy the game. I have two profiles on same email, one as work & other as personal. I removed the profile from xbox and add again,
it always add the new profile which is not the one first created. Is there any way I can just add the games or reset so the games open on this profile. When I got to purchase history on this profile it does show 2019 purchases.

Hello,

When you get that prompt that means you purchased it on a different account or received it through using the home feature. You can see which account bought the game by going to the store one at a time with both accounts and seeing which account says "Owned"
above the button to gift the game. You also cannot have 2 accounts on the same email. This might mean that you are creating an account rather than signing and are misplacing the details. To sign in you have to open the menu by clicking the Xbox button on your
controller and navigating all the way to the right. Then click add or switch and add new. Then proceed with the onscreen instructions and you should be signed in.

When you first made your Xbox LIVE account? Get the windows email you used, and login at hotmail.com from there, go to your profile pane, and press edit profile, then edit the birthday.

I just tried that and no difference. I also just tried to download the profile again and the email/pwd login was not accepted. I guess I'm wondering if I should delete the profile first, but seems it wouldn't know the profile was already on the console
until it could login, so not thinking that would make any difference either.

Has the email change process completed? Can you login with your new email id from web? On your Xbox you may have to remove your profile first and then add your account again with your new email.

can you check the storage section for the profiles, to see if the profiles might be shown as corrupt and have a yellow icon. (Settings - system - storage - select storage device - profiles)

If the profiles are connected to a Microsoft Account (email address) (Be sure to check if you are able to login to www.xbox.com first) you could try deleting the profiles (Delete profile only) and trying to redownload them.
